Thompson Networks Supports Gala Event Honoring Santo Gairo And the Work of the Bucks County Housing Group
DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania Homelessness, poverty and hunger are very real issues for many families in Bucks County. No one knows that better than Santo Gairo, founder and executive director of the Bucks County Housing Group (BCHG), a private non-profit social service organization serving homeless and low-income families in Bucks County.
Mr. Gairo was the guest of honor at a gala event on November 17 in New Hope to celebrate the work of the organization and to honor him at the time of his retirement. Hosted by the BCHG Board of Directors, the evening’s guest list included many local dignitaries, as well as friends and supporters from all over Bucks County who continue to contribute, their time, talent and money to BCHG.
Among the organization’s staunchest supporters is Thompson Networks’ Sean Galt who serves as President of the BCHG Board of Directors. “Over Santo’s 30 years of commitment to supporting families in need, his leadership and guidance has touched and improved thousands of lives” he explained. “BCHG’s work assisting families attain permanent housing and self-sufficiency not only helps the families, but the larger community as well. In the end, how we respond to homelessness ultimately speaks to the kind of community in which we want to live and work.”
